Edesia Global Nutrition Solutions’ new facility at Quonset Business Park in North Kingstown, RI had its opening ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 2, 2016. The Rhode Island-based nonprofit manufacturer is committed to ending childhood hunger by making sure the world’s most malnourished children receive the foods they need to live a healthy life.

Project Manager at DiPrete Engineering, Brandon Carr, led the site/civil engineering for the 82,000 sf building and its associated parking, roadways, utilities and stormwater management.

Brandon served as the project manager during Edesia’s design and permitting phases as well as an engineering resource for the contractor during the construction period.

“It’s always great to see your design come to fruition,” said Brandon. “This project was special because it was for a very worthy cause. Edesia does a lot to prevent childhood malnutrition and it felt great to play a small role in helping them expand their reach.”

DiPrete Engineering collaborated with RKB Architects and Campanelli Construction to create the new facility.  Employees have settled in and Edesia is up-and-running.
