DiPrete Gives Back

By December 13, 2017 Engineering News

This year, employees are donating to both the Rhode Island Community Food Bank and to Amos House, a leading social service agency in Rhode Island.

“By giving through the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, we are reaching the communities that many of our employees live in,” said Karen King, Managing Director of Administration at DiPrete. “Hunger and poverty have no geographic bounds.”

This month the team is supporting Amos House, which provides direct support services to the hungry, homeless, and unemployed. Their services include a soup kitchen which serves hot meals six days a week, transitional and supportive housing, and workforce and literacy training in addition to a host of other services. DiPrete Engineering donated toys for all ages to the Amos House.

“We are collecting anything and everything from name brand and educational toys, to gifts for teens and adults,” said Karen. “Anything to help brighten the holiday season for families in need.”
