The Village at South County Commons

South Kingstown, RI

The Village at South County Commons is a 150 acre mixed use development located in South Kingstown, Rhode Island.  Located on Route 1, just north of Wakefield, the development is a mixed use development planned, engineered, surveyed, and construction supervised by DiPrete Engineering.

The project consists of over 300,000 square feet of retail, commercial, office, and medical space. In addition, the development contains 230 luxury apartments, 64 condominium units, and 168 senior and assisted living units.  The development center consists of a 'main street' with first floor retail with second floor office in a village atmosphere. 

DiPrete Engineering assisted the Town of South Kingstown in the creation of the Comprehensive Plan Change and the Mixed Use Zone ordinance.  Some current occupants on the site include an Applebee's restaurant, Entertainment Cinema, Bradley School, Brewed Awakenings, Care New England, and Hampton Inn.
