Dowling Village

Located at the intersection of Eddie Dowling Highway and Old Louisquisset Pike, DiPrete Engineering is working with Bucci Development to design, permit, and construct a mixed use development with approximately 600,000 SF of retail space, 75,000 SF of office space, several restaurants and 76 condominium units.
 
DiPrete Engineering assisted the developer to obtain all necessary state and local approvals including Zoning Board, Land Use Variances, and permits from the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management and the Rhode Island Department of Transportation.
 
The project has received all permits and is currently under construction. DiPrete Engineering is now assisting the developer with construction assistance and monitoring as well as final design plans for specific tenants. Phase I of Dowling Village is built and includes a CVS Pharmacy. Phase III began construction in April 2010 and includes a 152,000 SF Walmart and a new traffic signal on Route 146a for the southern entrance to site. Construction of Phase II is anticipated to start in 2011.
