Tasca Automotive Dealership

Cranston, RI

Located at the intersection of Route 37 and Pontiac Avenue in Cranston, RI, the Tasca Family worked with DiPrete Engineering to create a highly innovative and successful automotive dealership. The dealership currently houses Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, and Mazda in a 60,000 sf sales and service building.

The site was originally a RIDOT garage and storage facility. DiPrete Engineering collaborated with the project architect and project landscape architect to create a full service facility that houses over 1,000 vehicles, sales center, service center, and a full service restaurant. Since the initial construction, DiPrete Engineering has also assisted with a truck sales center located next to this facility.

DiPrete Engineering assisted in the zone change, conceptual design, construction document preparation, site mapping, regulatory permitting, and construction assistance.

The Tasca Family led by Bob Tasca Sr. has been involved with Ford since the 1940’s. There are currently 3 generations of Tasca’s involved with the family business. DiPrete Engineering is honored to be a part of their growing tradition.
