Block Island Wind Farm

DiPrete Engineering is working with Deepwater Wind to design and permit the Block Island Wind Farm. The project consists of a 30 megawatt offshore wind farm located in the coastal waters off of Block Island, Rhode Island. The project will generate over 100,000 megawatt hours annually and will supply the majority of Block Island's power demands. Excess power generated by the facility will be exported to the mainland through a submarine cable.
