Land Surveying
The precise measurement
Surveying is an integral piece of all development. Whether it be property line or topography, a skilled hand is necessary to compile the necessary data. We employ Professional Land Surveyors, survey technicians, GPS technicians, and an office staff to process the data. Our Survey Department has extensive experience in all aspects of traditional survey throughout RI, CT, and MA.
We are also one of the first in New England to own and utilize GPS technology and we are currently utilize the latest equipment that utilizes the United States NAVSTAR System, Russian GLONASS System, and European Union's GALILEO System.
We support a continually growing base of steady repeat clients including engineering firms, contractors, property owners, utility companies, public agencies, banks, and attorneys. We depend upon continued repeat business and work hard to keep our clients satisfied.
The proper equipment
We firmly believe that you need to provide your employees with the best available technology and equipment. Each survey crew is equipped with a late model Ford Econoline van, a Topcon Total Station survey instrument with digital data collector, and a full complement of support equipment. We outfit our GPS operators with a light pickup truck, a Trimble GPS unit, and support equipment. In addition, our survey crews have a detailed maintenance program to ensure the accuracy and precision of their equipment.
The proper training
Our field personnel are continually trained to fully utilize the latest field to finish technology. They also have 40 hours of HAZWOPER training necessary to work on brownfield sites. The field technicians have AMTRAK training and we employ SCUBA certified staff for water related projects.
