Honey Dew Coming to North Providence

A new Honey Dew Donuts will soon be popping up at 1113 Mineral Spring Avenue in North Providence. The property, owned by Churchill & Banks, a leading real estate development and site acquisition firm, was formerly occupied by a 5,400-square foot building that in the past had been home to Spectrum Tanning and Stop & Save Insurance.

Churchill & Banks has teamed up with DiPrete Engineering, BETA Group, and Kent Co. Development to build the new bakery.

As New England’s largest locally-owned donut and coffee shop chain, Honey Dew has 145 units and over 65 franchise families. Situated across from Stop & Shop, the company’s new 1,500-square foot building will sit on nearly half an acre with 17 parking spaces.

“It’s always great to see a site that’s been sitting vacant for so long go through a redevelopment,” said Brandon Carr, Project Manager at DiPrete Engineering. “Because this is such a well-traveled road, especially for commuters, I think the new Honey Dew will be a welcome addition to the town.”

The bakery’s newest location will feature a drive-thru, indoor seating, and takeout options. Like all Honey Dew’s, Mineral Spring’s will feature coffee beverages, donuts, pastries, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, light options, and many other menu items.
