Warwick, RI Brewed Awakenings’ fifth and largest coffeehouse on Bald Hill Rd. is almost ready to open its doors. Located at the former Land Rover dealership, the 8,000 s/f space will seat 200 patrons with areas for large and small tables, a conference room, and an outdoor seating area with a heated patio.

“This location includes several unique features and distinctive elements. The large space allowed us to be creative with the eating areas,” said David Levesque, owner of Brewed Awakenings. “It’s our second shop to have a drive-thru with two pull forward spots to keep cars moving along.”

The new location will service the area’s heavily traveled shopping district from 5 a.m. to midnight.

“We modified the traffic pattern and reconfigured the curb cuts to provide customers easy access to and from Rte. 2,” said Nicole Reilly, senior project manager at DiPrete Engineering.

DiPrete Engineering worked alongside Brewed Awakenings to provide permitting and engineering for the fifth location. The team collaborated to receive approvals from the city of Warwick.

Brewed Awakenings’ Warwick location will generate about 45 new jobs. The new location will begin operations this Fall. The Johnston-based company opened its first store about 18 years ago and has locations in Cranston, Wakefield, Johnston, and Cherry Hill.
