Community service is a deeply seeded value for DiPrete Engineering.
Recently, Senior Project Manager Brian Timm participated in the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP) Community Connect – A Day of Service with Boston’s CRE Industry. This workshop gave professionals in the Commercial Real Estate field the opportunity to: participate in hands-on work alongside industry peers, bring a group for meaningful team-building, and work together to make a positive difference for children in need.
This event benefitted Cradles to Crayons, a non-profit that provides children from birth to age 12, living in low-income and homeless situations, with essentials items they need to thrive – for home, school, and play.
DiPrete’s Brian Timm spent his afternoon sorting bins filled with donated toys and games to make sure they were all complete, clean, and usable for families in the Boston area. Brian gained a great deal of appreciation for LEGOS as he spent a majority of the time inspecting and sorting the tiny pieces.
“I really enjoyed working alongside industry peers while also making a positive impact on children in need,” said Brian.
Other professionals that worked alongside Brian in the Toy department included: Phelan Construction’s Senior Project Manager Teagan Andres, Clarion Partners’ Asset Manager Rachel Astle, and Michael Born from Born Illustration.
