DiPrete Engineering proudly congratulates Rhode Island FC (RIFC) and Fortuitous Partners on the Topping Off ceremony for the Stadium at Tidewater Landing in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, held on June 14, 2024. This milestone represents a significant achievement in the development of a premier sports facility that will serve as a vibrant community hub and a beacon of growth for the state.

The Stadium at Tidewater Landing is set to become a cornerstone for soccer enthusiasts and the broader community, with an initial capacity of approximately 11,000 seats and future plans to expand to 15,000 seats as demand grows. The state-of-the-art facility will not only host soccer matches but also feature event parking, an entry and event plaza, and a picturesque riverwalk within the urban coastal greenway (UCG).

DiPrete Engineering joined SLR/Milone & MacBroom to assist Fortuitous Partners in designing and permitting an ambitious project. The firm handled advanced stormwater management, soil erosion reports, and stormwater pollution prevention plans, and facilitated submissions to the Coastal Resources Management Council. DiPrete also provided Professional Land Surveying services to both Fortuitous Partners and the City of Pawtucket for the Tidewater Landing and Division Street Mixed Use Development.

The completion of this project is a momentous occasion for the State of Rhode Island. It signifies not only the growth of sports and recreation in the area but also the economic and social revitalization of Pawtucket. DiPrete Engineering is proud to be a part of this transformative project, contributing our expertise to create a venue that will serve as a landmark for years to come.
