As part of its internship program, DiPrete Engineering would like to introduce Mary Kate Moses, Civil Engineering Intern. Currently a student at New England Institute of Technology (NEIT), Mary Kate has been interning with DiPrete since January 2018 and previously worked with the firm during the summers of 2011 and 2012 after graduating from high school.

Prior to working at DiPrete, Mary Kate completed internships with Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. (VHB), Bohler Engineering, and Woonsocket Water.

After meeting with her now colleagues, Sheryl Guglielmo, Project Manager, and Brian Giroux, Director of Engineering and Design, nearly six years ago, Mary Kate knew she wanted to become a civil engineer.

“I am really interested in the beginning stages of land development design – I learn new things every day I’m here,” said Mary Kate. “Right now, I’m working on a number of base plans. Gathering information and seeing the potential a site has is really cool.”

Mary Kate grew up in Barrington, RI and currently lives in Warwick, RI. Outside of work, Mary Kate enjoys needlepoint, painting, learning about old cars, playing Xbox, and rooting on her favorite sports teams: The Red Sox and Patriots.
