DiPrete Engineering is a proud sponsor of this year’s Healthy Living Community Event held by The Empowerment Factory, a non-profit dedicated to giving youth the skills needed to lead happier, healthier, and more empowered lives. The annual event will take place on September 21st between 12:00-3:00pm at Baldwin Elementary School in Pawtucket.
This free, family-friendly day includes crafts, games, prizes, music, and food with activities focused around literacy, creativity, gardening, and healthy living.
“Since 2014, The Empowerment Factory has positively impacted 3,100 at-risk urban youth through 29 after school clubs and 11 summer learning programs,” said Karen King, Board President of The Empowerment Factory and Managing Director of Administration at DiPrete Engineering. “The Healthy Living Community Event showcases the impact The Empowerment Factory is having as we bring families and the community together to celebrate.”
