SCITUATE – The Scituate Planning Board last week unanimously approved preliminary plans for the Hope Mill project to proceed, but not without hearing concerns and objections from members of the public.

The project to place 207 apartments at the vacant Hope Mill site off Route 116 near the Coventry line is finally seeing movement with the Planning Board’s approval after a 50-minute presentation given by experts representing Paramount Development Group, who are spearheading the project.

Paramount, which specializes in rehabbing historic landmarks and under-used properties, was represented by Attorney Joseph Shekarchi of Shekarchi Law in Warwick. Read More
