AR Building Company, Inc., a professional property management services firm, has constructed a 100-unit 40B apartment project on Mansfield Avenue in Norton, MA.

Chapter 40B is a state statute and incentive program in Massachusetts which enables the local Zoning Boards of Appeals to approve affordable housing developments under flexible rules if at least 20-25% of the units have long-term affordability restrictions. This new apartment building consists of 25%
affordable housing with a mix of one, two, and three 3 bedroom units.

AR Building teamed with Vanasse & Associates, Inc. who provided traffic engineering, LEC Environmental Consultants, Inc. for environmental services, Rothschild Doyno Collaborative for architectural services, GZA, and DiPrete Engineering.

DiPrete provided site planning, design, permitting, and landscape design. The project was permitted through the Norton Zoning Board of Appeals and Conservation Commission as well as the Massachusetts Department of Transportation and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.
