Construction of a $19 million, 100-unit hotel located near The Village at South County Commons in South Kingstown, RI is moving along smoothly. The new four‐story Fairfield Inn by Marriott will be a business‐friendly hotel serving southern Rhode Island and the University of Rhode Island.
The property, located within South County Commons District 5 near The Bradley School, is owned by Southern Rhode Island Hospitality, LLC. The firm chose the site for its high visibility from Route 1 and easy accessibility from the highway’s Southbound side. The hotel will include work areas, a business center, a 24/7 market and fitness center, a swimming pool, wi-fi, daily breakfast, and other amenities.
Southern Rhode Island Hospitality, LLC teamed with DiPrete Engineering who received the necessary permitting and approvals from RIDEM and the Town of South Kingstown. The firm also provided the site’s construction documents and surveying services.
