Goddard Daycare

The Goddard School, a nationally acclaimed private preschool and daycare, is constructing a new daycare on undeveloped property at 921 Washington Street in Canton, MA.

The Goddard School was established in 1988 to deliver a high-quality, play-based learning program to families all over the United States. Since then, The Goddard School has grown into an institution that parents and families trust, reaching more than 70,000 students from six weeks to six years old in more than 525 Goddard Schools in 38 states.

The Goddard School has teamed with a local developer, Vanasse & Associates, Inc. for traffiic engineering, and DiPrete Engineering to design and construct the school building. The plan calls for a new 8,500 square foot building with 11 classrooms, office and administrative space, and two adjacent outdoor play areas. A new parking lot will include 39 spaces and an additional area in the rear to accommodate overflow parking and snow storage.

DiPrete Engineering is providing the new school’s site planning, design, permitting, and landscape design. The project is being permitted through the Canton Zoning Board of Appeals and Conservation Commission.
