Highfields includes 155 house lots and a 220-acre, 18-hole golf course. Andrews Survey & Engineering, which joined DiPrete Engineering in 2021, played a pivotal role from the project’s inception. The firm began work in 1992, and the subdivision was approved in 2001. In addition to subdivision design, the firm secured the necessary permits from the Planning Board, Zoning Board, and Conservation Commission. Their responsibilities included construction staking and creating as-built plans for the golf course, clubhouse, residential buildings, and began the public roadway acceptance process.
Since merging with Andrews, DiPrete Engineering has continued these critical tasks. The firm has managed ongoing construction staking, produced as-built plans for roadway acceptance, and handled conservation permitting. The public roadway acceptance process will conclude in 2025. In addition to these efforts, DiPrete Engineering partnered with Mungeam Golf Design, who designed the golf course. DiPrete’s involvement has been crucial in transforming the land into Highfields, ensuring that the project meets planning and regulatory standards and supporting the development of both the residential community and the golf course.
