As we move into the spring construction season, our survey teams are fully mobilized and responding to increased field demand across Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Below is a snapshot of current operations, recent project activity, and what to expect as the season ramps up.

ðŸ§Current Field Operations
We are now at the beginning of the spring field season and are currently operating 6 active survey crews. Field operations experienced interruptions earlier in the winter due to snow cover, icy conditions, and sustained cold temperatures. As daytime conditions have steadily improved over the past several weeks, our crews are now fully mobilized and operating at full capacity. Control, boundary verification, and construction layout services are proceeding without limitation, and topographic and utility surveys are ramping up as site access and surface conditions improve. Field crews are currently working overtime hours to meet current project demand.
We are presently scheduling new field work.Â
ðŸ§Recent Project Highlights
Recent field efforts have included:
• Harwich, MA – Completed a comprehensive 30-acre boundary survey to support property delineation and planning efforts.
• Grafton, MA – Performed precise lot corner staking to facilitate accurate residential construction layout.
• Johnston, RI – Conducted detailed topographic and utility surveys to support infrastructure upgrades.
• Smithfield, RI – Executed a 25-acre boundary survey to establish accurate property limits.
• Johnston, RI – Provided professional lot line staking services to ensure proper boundary identification.
Our teams continue to coordinate closely with engineers, architects, attorneys, and contractors to maintain project momentum and schedules despite seasonal challenges.

🧠Planning Ahead – Don’t Delay!
As spring permitting and construction activity ramp up, early coordination of survey services is recommended to maintain desired project timelines. Advance scheduling allows us to align crew availability with key project milestones and avoid delays as seasonal demand increases. If you have upcoming projects in need of survey support, we welcome the opportunity to assist.
