Wendy’s Now Open

wendysDiPrete Engineering has successfully completed design and construction on its 4th Wendy’s project.  The ground-up project is located in the North Kingstown Crossing Plaza, at the former Fiddlesticks Miniature Golf Course. The 3,000-square-foot footprint represents Wendy’s new sleek and contemporary prototype.

We collaborated with the town to create a design that complimented its character while still demonstrating Wendy’s bold brand transformation,” said Senior Project Engineer, Jason Clough.  “We adapted the design to resemble a colonial building, but still included elements of Wendy’s modern prototypes.  Namely the “blade” which is where the building signage is located.”

The transformation is part of Wendy’s mission to re-energize their stores by delivering a striking new appearance. The enhanced customer experience includes a design that features fire places, a patio, a variety of seating options, flat screen TV’s, wi-fi, and digital menu boards.

DiPrete’s scope of work included a topographic survey, conceptual planning, soil evaluations, design of a FAST Nitrogen-Reducing Septic System, stormwater management, landscape design, regulatory approvals, construction documentation and administration, construction documentation, and more.

Hat’s off to Jason and his team Rick Solitro, Jill Daponte, Alex Avery and Len Bradley for a job well done.
