DiPrete Engineering is pleased to announce the promotions of eight professionals.
A member of the firm’s Newport office and its first Project Manager, Molly Titus has more than 17 years of engineering experience throughout New England. Her primary focus has been on projects such as CarMAX on the Cranston/Warwick line and the firm’s Aquidneck Island based projects such as Newport Tech Works, the International Yacht Restoration School in Newport, Tiverton Industrial Park Projects, and Bank RI in Middletown.
Molly is commended by her clients for her dedication to making their needs and projects a top priority.
“I believe the key to success is having a positive attitude,” said Molly. “I am very passionate about helping my clients and am always looking for ways to improve.”
Also earning the title of Project Manager is Sheryl Guglielmo who is approaching her 10th year at DiPrete Engineering. Her primary focus has been on the redevelopment of Garden City Center in Cranston which she has been working on since 2012.
Sheryl’s portfolio includes retail, restaurant and mixed-use projects. She is currently in the design development stages of a new retail pad site in Attleboro, MA and her efforts have not gone unnoticed.
“Hard work pays off,” said Sheryl. “If you believe in yourself and have the willingness to put the time in, you will be prepared for whatever comes your way.”
Another new Project Manager is Brandon Carr who joined DiPrete Engineering in 2007. Brandon’s current focus is on the Riverfront Business Park in Freetown, MA and Kettle Point in East Providence, RI.
Brandon’s portfolio includes multifamily, mixed-use, and gas/convenience projects. He is known for his orderliness and communication with clients.
“I am always anticipating the needs of a project or client and trying to stay one step ahead of them,” said Brandon.
Other promotions include Matt Caulfield and Joe Duhamel who have earned the title of Project Engineer. Both Matt and Joe are responsible for the day-to-day engineering tasks for projects they work on. They also provide oversight to entry level civil engineers and work directly with the firm’s Project Managers and design teams in a variety of market sectors.
Also promoted was Jennifer Sweet who now holds the title of Billing and Accounts Payable Supervisor. Jennifer is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s accounts receivable and payable. She recently completed her Associate’s degree in Business Administration and is finishing up her 2nd Associate’s degree in General Studies this spring.

Brian Lavey and Dana Nisbet have received promotions as well, both earning the title Civil Engineer II. Brian and Dana provide engineering support to the Project Engineers on stormwater management, grading and utility design, and the preparation of submittals to regulatory agencies.
