Q: What were you doing prior to joining DiPrete Engineering?
A: I was working at Almac’s Supermarket stocking shelves. I had just graduated from the New England Institute of Technology when I started working here. It was supposed to be a temporary job, but 25 years later and I’m still here.
A: What does your role as Survey Field Supervisor entail?
Q: I do boundary research to provide a Class IV to crews as well as calibrate/schedule equipment for service, perform maintenance on vehicles, order supplies, and provide technical support. Essentially, I provide everything crews need in order to perform their tasks.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?
A: I like working outside while still having the flexibility of doing different tasks like research, field, and office work.
Q: Can you recall one of your proudest moments while working at DiPrete?
A: I was doing a boundary survey on a 300-acre parcel and closed out traverse only one second off. It was in the middle of winter and was cold and windy with about a foot of snow on the ground.
Q: How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
A: I like to spend time with my family, doing projects around the house, and going on vacations. I also enjoy cooking and grilling.
