DiPrete Engineering recently updated its website’s Regional Resources tool. This innovative tool helps locate different planning, zoning, and permitting regulations in every town throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island as well as a growing list of towns in Connecticut and New Hampshire. The webpage also provides information collected from various government websites in a simple and user-friendly manner.
The website’s navigation includes a Google maps application that displays the state the user is searching within along with searchable counties, cities, and towns. Once a town or city is selected, there are many options to explore including the town or city’s website, planning department, public works department, zoning regulations, subdivision regulations, registry of deeds, and GIS database.
The navigation also includes a search bar tool so that the user can simply type in the name of the town or city they are searching for and the resources will automatically populate.
Although DiPrete originally created the site for internal use, the team quickly realized its value and decided to make it accessible to the public.
